Services from the Northern Illinois CISM Team are specifically designed for emergency services professionals and their family members. Our services include:
Critical Incident
Stress Management Services

A 20-25 minute group process conducted within the first 12 hours following a Critical Incident, usually with single work units.

A seven-phase, structured group process usually conducted 24-72 hours after a Critical Incident. Debriefings may be offered for single work units or multi-agency groups.

A brief stress management process involving educating, rest & nutrition used at the scene of a large-scale disaster. The Demobilization process is implemented through the incident command system as personnels are discharged from the scene.

Support provided to command staff and personnel operating at the scene of an emergency following prolonged extrication, line of duty deaths, etc.

Provision of additional resources for emergency services personnel effected by a Critical Incident.
